Description
The oxygen extension tubes from Salter Labs are a non-sterile, disposable consumable for use by a single patient. They are used to extend the length of the tubing connecting the oxygen source to the patient interface (such as a nasal cannula, oxygen mask, nebuliser, or other respiratory device). They can be used both in hospital environments and at home.
Designed with a three-channel internal structure, it minimises kinks and allows a flow of over 75% to be supplied when the tube is not straight. Its transparent design allows for easy visual inspection, while standard connectors ensure universal compatibility with most oxygen therapy systems.
The oxygen extension tube withstands a maximum flow of 15 litres per minute and extends the nasal cannula or other healthcare device.
It is compatible with connectors and accessories with a diameter of 5 to 7 millimetres.
