Chin strap for CPAP therapy (ResMed)

Description

The chin strap for CPAP therapy by ResMed is an accessory designed for patients in CPAP therapy who tend to breathe through their mouth while asleep. It is made of soft, breathable elastic fabric to maximise patient comfort.

Its primary function is to prevent mouth opening and encourage nasal breathing to minimise air leaks. This ensures that the positive pressure supplied by the CPAP device is properly distributed in the airway, improving sleep quality.

The chin strap is compatible with a wide range of nasal masks and pads or cushions. It has a simple design, adjusted under the chin and with two side straps that wrap around the face and are secured at the top of the head with an adjustable Velcro^® fastening to allow a secure, personalisable fit.

For maintenance, it is recommended to wash the strap with lukewarm water and a mild detergent.
