The thermal humidifier with heater base from FORAS is specially designed for use with patients whose respiratory pathology requires treatment with CPAP or bilevel devices. The humidifier adds heat and humidity to the air supplied by these devices, in order to keep the mucous membranes, mucus viscosity and ciliary activity in an optimum state.

The humidifier can be used both in hospital settings and at home, and for all kinds of patients, whether paediatric or adult. It has a compact design, ideal for putting anywhere. It works plugged into the power supply and is easy to use: just press the on button and set the humidity level.

It consists of:

  • A heater base with five temperature settings: 
  • Level 1: 25.5 ± 1.5 °C.
  • Level 2: 26.7 ± 1.5 °C.
  • Level 3: 30.2 ± 1.5 °C.
  • Level 4: 32 ± 1.5 °C.
  • Level 5: 34.3 ± 1.5 °C.
  • A reusable water chamber that must be filled with distilled water to prolong its life.

The different components can be taken apart easily for proper cleaning and maintenance.
