Description

The Nuvo Lite stationary oxygen concentrator from NIDEK is a device that supplies up to 5 litres per minute of oxygen and is suitable for patients, both paediatric and adult, with respiratory illnesses that require long-term, continuous oxygen therapy.

It must be connected to the mains electricity supply during operation. Its compact, light design makes it easy to move about the home, as it has wheels and a handle to move it easily from one room to another.

The device is easy and safe to use: just press the power button and set the oxygen flow on the dial at the top to provide personalised therapy adapted to each patient’s needs. The Nuvo Lite concentrator is compatible with CPAP and bilevel devices, for patients who need to combine the two therapies.

The Nuvo Lite stationary concentrator from NIDEK features advanced oxygen concentration technology based on collecting air from the atmosphere and separating out the oxygen using a sieve-bed system to generate a continuous flow with a concentration of up to 90-95% oxygen. Moreover, its quiet motor does not exceed 40 decibels, meaning it can be used in a range of settings without bothering the user. For optimum maintenance of the device, the filter must be washed and dried regularly, about once a week.

To improve tolerance to the treatment, the Nuvo Lite device has a space on the back to add a humidifier container to increase the humidity of the oxygen supplied.
The device has a series of alarms, both visual and audible, to warn the patient if the oxygen concentration falls below the percentages set, if the power supply fails or if there is an obstruction in the cannula blocking the oxygen supply.
