Description

The Breas Vivo 45 mechanical ventilator is a device designed to provide respiratory support to adult and pediatric patients weighing 10 kg or more. Its compact, lightweight, and portable design facilitates patient mobility and independence, making it an ideal option for use in clinical and home settings.

This ventilator features a highly intuitive and easy-to-use interface. It offers the possibility of programming a wide range of mechanical ventilation modes to adapt to the diverse respiratory needs of each patient.

For a more comprehensive assessment and improved control of each patient’s respiratory mechanics, the device includes:

• Integrated monitoring. It features various connections that allow for the addition of sensors to monitor oxygen saturation, EtCO₂, respiratory effort bands, and FiO₂ delivered to the patient.
• Waveform visualization. The device’s graphical interface allows for the real-time visualization of respiratory waveforms, including pressure/time, flow/time, and volume/time. This function is essential for clinical staff, as it facilitates the identification of events such as leaks, asynchronies, or respiratory collapse.
• Connectivity and remote management. The Vivo 45 ventilator is equipped with wireless communication systems, via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, to provide advanced connectivity and facilitate integration with various healthcare devices and systems. This connectivity makes it compatible with the “Breas Cloud” platform, which facilitates remote monitoring and immediate, up-to-date access to the patient’s respiratory information. All of this allows clinical staff to make precise therapeutic adjustments and remotely detect respiratory events.

To facilitate mobility without compromising therapy, the Vivo 45 mechanical ventilator is equipped with a 2.5-hour internal battery and can integrate an external click-in battery for an additional 6.5 hours of autonomy.

The Breas device can be used with the click-in water chamber, which humidifies and warms the breathable air to prevent mucous membranes from drying out during therapy. It can also be connected to an oxygen therapy source and supports a maximum flow of 15 liters per minute.

The Breas Vivo 45 is not a life support device.
