Description
The SeQual Eclipse 5 portable concentrator from CAIRE is one of the most advanced and versatile devices. It offers two possibilities for administering oxygen:
- Continuous flow: oxygen is administered at a constant flow rate of between 0.5 and 3 litres per minute.
- Pulse dose: oxygen is supplied in bolus form at the beginning of each inspiration. Bolus of between 16 and 192 millilitres can be selected.
Its compact, light design allows the user to have oxygen therapy while going about their everyday life. The rechargeable battery gives up to 5 hours of use, giving freedom and flexibility when travelling.
It is a quiet device, emitting just 40 dBa, enhancing comfort and discretion in use in different settings. The ergonomic design of its carrying cart ensures smooth and comfortable mobility.
For enhanced user safety, the SeQual Eclipse 5 concentrator features AutoSAT™ technology to ensure uniform bolus size for every breath. As respiratory frequency increases during activity, the device makes the necessary adjustments to supply the bolus size set. If no breath is detected within 60 seconds, the unit automatically switches to continuous flow mode to ensure uninterrupted oxygen delivery.
When the device is set to pulse mode, it offers the option of adjusting its sensitivity, i.e. determining the speed at which the patient receives the bolus volume.
The device is compatible with CPAP and bilevel devices when it is set to continuous flow mode.
The SeQual Eclipse 5 concentrator from CAIRE has a simple, intuitive control panel and display for ease of use, allowing the operating mode to be changed and adjusted to meet each user’s needs, to ensure personalised therapy.
It has a reliable alarm system to alert the patient in the event of disconnection of the oxygen feed, low oxygen concentration, when user respiration is not detected and when the battery is low, among others.
